Lastentarhamuseo is located in the Ebeneser House. The courtyard is accessed through a pedestrian gate, which is approximately 70 cm wide. Wider strollers or wheelchairs can be assisted inside through the driveway gate along Helsinginkatu that leads to the courtyard. For this, please contact the Lastentarhamuseo staff.

The front of the Ebeneser House is partly paved and partly uneven gravel. The transition from the paving to the gravel section forms a threshold-like step.

During your visit, prams and strollers must be left in the stroller shed located in the courtyard. The shed is a green wooden building next to the main building. Strollers are not allowed inside the house. Rollators and wheelchairs are permitted indoors.

There are two steps at the main entrance of the building. It is possible to install a metal ramp over these steps. The portable ramp can be found just inside the main doors on the left. The museum is located on the third floor of the building, which can be reached via the main staircase leading from the lower lobby or by an accessible elevator. There are thresholds of approximately 2–3 cm on the 1st and 3rd floors of the building.

The restroom facilities at Lastentarhamuseo are not accessible.

Attending the event and visiting the museum involves certain accessibility restrictions, so it is recommended that visitors using a wheelchair, for example, be accompanied by an assistant. The museum staff is also happy to assist you upon your arrival.
