Purkunuta, Nuorten Taide Nyt 2026 (Youth Art Now 2026)
Event Introduction
Welcome to Purkunuta (youth center) on Helsinki Day!
The Nuorten Taide Nyt (Youth Art Now) exhibition showcases the dreams, connection to nature, and growth stories of young people, alongside works by the Katutaidetoimisto (Street Art Office), partners, and local youth.
The exhibition is open from 12:00 to 18:00. Program from 14:00 to 17:00: Helsinki trivia quizzes, breakdance workshops, and a Meet the Artists session with the Nuorten Taide Nyt artists from 16:00 to 17:00.
In addition, there will be a non-stop communal artwork “Dreams of Helsinki” and a Purkunuta orienteering activity.
