Visit to the Viikinmäki wastewater treatment plant
Event Introduction
The Viikinmäki wastewater treatment plant will celebrate its 30th anniversary by opening its doors to the public on Helsinki Day. The guided tour will cover treatment plant operations and the wastewater treatment process. The tours will start at 13:00, 15:00 and 17:00. Pre-booking is required, and places are limited.

Visitors must prove their identity. Children under the age of 12 will not be allowed on the premises, and children between the ages of 12 and 17 can only participate if accompanied by a guardian.

We do not recommend visiting if you are pregnant, hypersensitive to smells or have a condition that weakens the immune system. The plant is not fully accessible. The number of parking spaces is limited.
