TUNARI – a tragicomic monologue on attention deficit and concentration disorders

Event Introduction

“What if I drop my child? If I just somehow… If I stumbled and they dropped from my hands.” 

The monologue TUNARI is director and playwright Eppu’s debut directional work and deals with his first-hand experiences of attention, concentration and hyperactivity disorders. It will be performed by Oliver Härkönen in the reading room at Rikhardinkatu Library (3rd floor) on Helsinki Day. 

Warning: swearing, violent imagery, self-harm, death, excretion (urine), sexually explicit imagery (masturbating).

The main entrance to Rikhardinkatu Library is not accessible, but there is an accessible entrance on Korkeavuorenkatu that is lit and easy to find. There, a lift can take visitors to the 3rd floor, where the event will be held. The lift can accommodate a wheelchair. There is a threshold of more than 2 cm as well as 2 steps at the entrance to the reading room. There is an accessible toilet on floor -1.
