The recovery vehicle – the hero of all trams!
Event Introduction
Come and learn about the recovery vehicle, how it works, and meet the drivers! The recovery vehicle is on standby 24/7 to rescue trams from trouble—for example, if a tram is involved in an accident or an incorrectly parked car is blocking the tracks.
In the depot yard, there will be a presentation of the vehicle and a viewing spot where you can catch a glimpse of tram maintenance. There is no public access inside the depot itself.
Perfect for children, public transport enthusiasts, or anyone interested in large vehicles.
Metropolitan Area Transport Ltd is responsible for tram operations and maintenance, among other things.
