Student choir and string concerts
Event Introduction
The string orchestra concert with the festival strings starts at 19:15 on Friday, just before the student choirs’ carousel concert, which begins at 20:00! The participating choirs are Akademiska Sångföreningen, Studentkören Pedavoces, Florakören vid Åbo Akademi, Studentkören Brahe Djäknar, and Akademiska Damkören Lyran. The Cathedral provides an acoustically optimal concert venue, and the best way to experience the performance is to take your seat in the pews well in advance. Admission to the concert is free.
