Event Introduction

On Helsinki Day, head to Seurasaari! You’re in for a treat of lively and energetic folk dancing and traditional music. Dancers from folk dance groups across the Helsinki metropolitan area, dressed in their colorful national costumes, will perform at Antti Square.
The performances draw inspiration from this year’s theme for folk music and folk dance: “Strength from Our Roots.”

Featuring Espoon Kansantanssijat, Tanhu-Visa, Pörriäiset from Nurmijärvi, and the Seurasaari Folk Dancers’ group Virvatuli. Free admission (weather permitting).
