Kerran Krunikan kaduilla (‘Once upon a time on the streets of Kruununhaka’) street theatre performance

Event Introduction
Departure from Liisankatu, Sibelius-lukio schoolyard, at 19:00. The tour will feature dramatisations of real events from the golden age of the Finnish film company Suomen Filmiteollisuus. The tour will follow Mariankatu into Vironkatu, where we’ll meet the founder of the oldest small-scale theatre in Finland, Teatteri Jurkka. We’ll then walk along Rauhankatu to Halkolaituri in Pohjoisranta and finally to Liisanpuistikko park, where we’ll be able to enjoy some music from the era.
More information about accessibility:
Due to the length of the tour, crowds, uneven ground and steep gradients, the event is not suitable for people in wheelchairs or with pushchairs or animals. There are public toilets in the Varsapuistikko and Liisanpuisto parks along the route. Bikes, roller skates or any other means of transport on wheels are not permitted. Parents must hold children by the hand throughout the event to keep them safe.
