Hike in Haltiala Forest
Event Introduction
Celebrate Helsinki Day on a guided nature hike and admire the forest. Haltiala is a diverse forest in the northern part of Keskuspuisto Park. Many species of woodpeckers thrive in the primeval forest, and large ferns grow in the shadows of the spruces. The highest point in the area is Haltiavuori, on top of which you can still see the marks left by the Ice Age. Pack a snack for the three-hour hike.
