Event Introduction
Let’s celebrate Helsinki Day by doing the samba! This year, the theme of the Império do Papagaio parade is Helsinki in all its diversity. Expect to see spectacular dresses! The event will be interactive: there will be a selfie wall and a variety of samba headdresses that you can wear as props for your photos. Papagaio dancers will offer a short samba lesson. The event will climax with the announcement of the results of the Helsinki Samba Carnaval competition in the restaurant at 20:00. The event will be suitable for attendees of all ages and guaranteed to spread the joy, rhythms and colours of samba on Helsinki Day!
