Event Introduction
Welcome to celebrate Helsinki’s food culture at the Hotel and Restaurant Museum on Friday from 11 am to 7 pm. Admission to the museum is free all day!
On Helsinki Day, we invite you on an expedition into the world of flavors and a time travel through the city’s restaurant history. The program includes immersive guided tours, sensory workshops, and interesting exhibitions for all ages.

The event has an accessible toilet.
The museum entrance and ticket office are located in the Cable Factory's Glass Courtyard. Accessible entry to the Glass Courtyard is from the Kaapeliaukio side. The automatic door is located on the far right under the canopy of the Dance House Helsinki building. The door opener button is on the side wall. A ramp (slope approx. 8%) leads from the factory shop to the museum lobby. The automatic gate at the top of the ramp opens with a QR code provided at the ticket office.
