Event Introduction

Welcome to the Helsinki Day nature excursion to Kruunuvuori! On this walk, we will tour around the Kruunuvuorenlampi pond and its surrounding rocky hills while admiring the scenery. Led by our guides, we will discover the area’s bird, plant, and moss species. The destination is a small but diverse hidden nature gem in Laajasalo. The length of the route is approximately 2.5 km, and it is difficult to traverse in places. The walk covers a boardwalk and rocky terrain.

Departure point: The intersection of Hopeakaivoksentie and Päätie (Päätie 28). The terminus for bus 88, next to Kaitalahdenpuisto park.
