Event Introduction
Munkinseutu ry – Munksnejden rf celebrated Helsinki Day with song on Saturday 11 June 3 p.m.–7 p.m. around Puukioski Munkkiniemi on Laajalahti square.
After a wonderful afternoon opening ceremony, the area is filled with entertaining music and a sing-a-long with troubadour Jaakko Hautaviita. The energetic rhythms of Trio Banda Caribe bring atmospheric warm winds from under a hot sun at 5 p.m.
Puukioski gives the first 150 customers fresh doughnuts when purchasing a drink! There’s a hamburger truck nearby that provides good eating.
