Historical sword fighting in the park

Event Introduction

Come and try your hand at historical sword fighting on Helsinki Day! The event showcases European swordmanship based on historical sources.

Visitors get to watch sparring with a variety of weapons and learn about the hobby and our activities. You can also try swinging an authentic steel sword under supervision and practise sparring with safe foam swords. The event has something for children and adults alike.
