Helsinki Day in Suvilahti
Event Introduction
There is no better place to spend Helsinki Day than the Suvilahti cultural centre! Come and soak in the atmosphere and enjoy a wide variety of live music: the Funky Amigos Garden Party in the top park, the Summer Bass Terrace event in Lämpiö, the SÄILIÖ rave in the old gasometer and SÄILIÖ Junior in Tiivistämö. Other activities include a community planting project, an exhibition showcasing the area’s history and a Helsinki quiz. The programme culminates in the Suvilahti Sounds rap event in Tiivistämö in the evening, featuring Whereismike as the headline act.
