Helsinki Day in Merkki
Event Introduction
A guided tour of the Media Museum and Archives Merkki at 12:00 on 12 June 2024 will offer insight into the history of media and communication-related phenomena, the key message being the importance of free media for democracy. The tour will take approx. 30 minutes. No registration is required.
There will also be a printing demonstration in Merkki’s printing cellar from 13:00 to 15:00. You will be shown how texts and images were printed on paper in past decades. Suitable for visitors of all ages.
