The Helsinki Harps Folk Group is a collection of Irish, Finnish and international musicians who play primarily Irish folk music, but with a few Finnish and international songs mixed in too. Their membership has been growing and evolving throughout the past few years, and the performances that they regularly hold in Helsinki have morphed into community focused emotionally open experiences rooted in the Irish folk music traditions. This isn’t a typical closed band, but an open group who are always happy to collaborate with other musicians and the audience around them. Because of this, no two sessions are ever the same!

Our programme is open to all and free of charge (except for the Helsinki Day sauna, 6 eur/person). On Helsinki Day, Café Lähde, the Patina Flea Market, Gift & Handicraft Shop Puoti, Café Metsäpaahtimo, and other services are also open.
