Dundumba! Celebrating West African dance and rhythm
Event Introduction
Dundumba! invites fans of African music and dance from near and far to a Helsinki Day drum party at Hesperia Park. The programme includes dance, breathtaking rhythms and enjoying summer Guinea style. The performers range from professionals to amateurs of all ages with various levels of experience. The audience are welcome to join in with their own unique moves or just watch. The music for the dancing element will be provided by top professionals who have made their home in Finland.
The Hesperia Park sand field is located on the Töölönlahti bay side of Mannerheimintie.
