Dinner under the sky sets a very long table on Pohjoisesplanadi on Saturday 11 June, the eve of Helsinki Day.
Or more precisely, 180 tables with white tablecloths, which will once again form a most beautiful scene on a central Helsinki park avenue. Even when it’s empty, the 400-metre table is undeniably quite fancy, but as the tables fill with people, something unique will be created in the city. Old friends will meet and new friendships will be born. Food and thoughts will be shared as people dine together under the linden trees on a street that, there and then, will be one of the most wonderful places on Earth.
Book a table for your party and come join a lovely evening. Each party will bring their own food, as if on a picnic, with a nice setting. A table will seat 6–8 persons.
Mixed and biowaste bins will be brought to Pohjoisesplanadi, but we kindly ask you to try to take with you everything you bring to the table. If you use disposable tableware, please make sure that they are biodegradeable. There are lavatories on either end of Pohjoisesplanadi.
