Dinner under the sky is a beloved Helsinki Day classic

Helsinki Day is crowned by the Dinner under the Sky in Esplanade Park, which has been inviting city dwellers to dine at the same table for eleven years. 

A unique dinner table will be set in the green summer cityscape for nearly a thousand people who have reserved their seats in advance. Now is the time to invite your loved ones to join you and pack your own drinks and food. On Wednesday 12 June, we’ll toast again to the birthday of our beloved Helsinki! 

The event is free of charge, but please remember to book a place at the table in advance. Registration starts on Tuesday 21 May at noon on illallinentaivaanalla.fi.

You can book a place for a group of max. 6–8 people. Solo diners are also welcome! If you can’t join, please cancel your registration and make room for other diners. A fine of 50 euros will be charged for an uncancelled dinner table. Dinner reservations can be cancelled until 5 June at 9 pm via the link provided with the reservation. If the dinner seats are fully booked, you should keep an eye for possible cancellation seats.
